Things to Do in Anaheim, CA

Many people visit Anaheim for Disneyland.  However there are many things to do in Anaheim apart from visiting this attraction.  Here are some options. If you are interested in the arts the MUZEO Museum is well worth a visit.  It includes contemporary exhibits and has the free Carnegie Gallery along with the main gallery which has paid admission.  The museum also hosts additional events and art related activities. The Anaheim Packing District is located in downtown Anaheim and has many places to meet and eat.  There are grassy areas to sit, parks to enjoy and lots of places to just watch the world go by.  There are also historic buildings to explore such as the Packard Building and The Anaheim Packing House. Adventure City is a cheaper fun park option to Disneyland.   There are a multitude of different rides and attractions including rollercoasters, carousels, a petting farm, as well as many additional shows.  There is free parking available too. Camelot Golfland is a miniature golf facility for all the family.  It is one of the largest in the country.  The facility hosts mini golf, laser tag and water slides.  It also has a large arcade as well as delicious pizza at Camelot Pizza and shakes at Iceberg Shakes. Flight Deck is a flight simulator which lets you experience the thrill of flying and air combat.  Boeing 737 and the F-16 are options you can choose for flight - you can find out what it’s really like to fly in these airraft.  You can choose either a 30 minute session or an hour session which includes takeoff, flight and landing.
