Irvine, California – A Great Place to Raise a Family

Who doesn’t love Irvine, California? With a kid-friendly shopping center and within close proximity to Disneyland and Newport Beach, Irvine is a family’s dream. As you drive into the town, you’ll notice how clean and spacious the city truly is, and if you have plans to raise a family, you’ll want to move in straight away.

The town is set bulls-eye in the iconic Orange County of Southern California. From Fullerton native, Gwen Stefani’s musical declaration of her status as an Orange County girl, to the 2000s hit soap opera the O.C, you will see why Orange County has become a staple in music and T.V. Shows once you step foot into Irvine. We’d recommend taking a visit into the Irvine Spectrum Center once you’re there. The Irvine Spectrum Center is a large, outdoor shopping mall which is a dream to take a stroll in. From Nordstrom, to Target, to even a carousel, the shopping center has everything you need and more.

The town feels like it is designed for families. Irvine is statistically considered one of the safest cities in the country. If you already have children, there are numerous things to do in Irvine which kids are sure to love, such as: The Pretend City Children’s Museum, a K1 Speed location, and the Balboa Fun Zone. The Pretend City Children’s Museum is a vibrant play-town, that gives your kids a chance to play adult and it is a great learning opportunity for them. K1 Speed is an indoor go-kart racing location; you’ll have fun betting on who wins. And the Balboa Fun Zone is located on a pier in Newport Beach, with affordable classic carnival rides.

Once your children grow up, there will be many accredited local colleges to consider. Irvine is home to many universities, including the University of California, Irvine, Pepperdine University’s Orange County graduate campus, and the University of La Verne.
